What is wrong with Bank of America?
I have two credit card accounts with them and also a checking account with over $5,000 in it at any given time, because they are also my main and only bank. My first credit card, a Platinum Plus Visa currently, was opened in 2005 and began as a secured card where I gave them $100 (when I had no credit at all) and they kept it in a savings account for nearly a year. It turned into a Visa Gold, the credit limit doubled and I got my money back after only 10 months because I was so good with the payments and usage. It then became the Platinum Plus after another year. The secured had a $500 credit limit, and over time they have bumped it up to where it is now – $10,000 credit limit. It currently has no balance.
My second card is an American Express Accelerated Rewards card through Bank of America…also a $10,000 credit limit. However, recently I called BofA to ask a simple question about my credit card account. The idiot rep went to some credit analyst and they dropped my credit limit by $1,700 on the card. I had JUST done a balance transfer onto this card, which they invited me to do.

Are Banner Bank Platinum Rewards Visa a good credit card?
I’m considering applying for a Banner Bank Platinum Rewards Credit Card, since I bank with them. Is this a good choice, because currently I have Capital One and am having trouble with them. I just want a card that can help me build strong solid credit history. Capital One charges me 21% interest rates, and Banner Bank can offer you a 9.99% to people with good credit. Do any of you have one of these cards, what are the advantages or disadvantes of owning one? Just give me overview of this card if you could please. Also do any of you know if they charge a fee for usage, like for example Capital One charges $10.00 everymonth-$120 yearly. Does Banner Bank do this kind of things? Oh and no smart remarks please. Like no credit card is good kind of thing, work with me here.
