Wells Fargo credit card rewards program?
So I signed up for the Wells Fargo rewards program. If I use their credit card I receive 1 point for every $1. BUt if I use their check card (linked to my checking acct) I only get 1 point for every $4. My plan was to pay my mortgage each month with the credit card to get the most points. Well my mortgage company doesnt accept credit cards, only checking accounts that have a routing number. Is there a way to get around this so that I can still get the most amount of points? This really stinks if I will only get 1/4 the points.
Thanks

Of course it stinks. Do you think they ever make it easy?

no way around it. And you only get the points on your checking account if you use your debit card and sign for the purchase (or use it as a visa over the phone or online). Using your checking account number for an electronic check will not earn you points. Sorry. Its just the way the program is set up. And using the super checks from the credit card that you may get, those don’t work either because they are logged as a cash advance, and thus do not qualify for points.
